Why use an urgent care center rather than my reqular doctor?
Use your regular doctor when you can. We are here to assist in your care if you cannot schedule a convenient appointment. You will find the urgent care can handle your problem promptly.

Why not use the Emergency Room?
If you have a true life threatening emergency, you must go to an emergency room. However, most patients do not need the expense and delay of the emergency room for urgent illnesses/injuries.

Do we work with other doctors?
We often act as firemen for your regular doctors. We see patients when your doctor is out, after hours, weekends and holidays. We handle the urgent problem immediately and refer back to the primary care doctor the next day.

Do you refer patients to specialists?
Yes. We handle immediately urgent problems such as sprains, fractures, lacerations, vomiting, diarrhea, dehydration, etc. and refer patients to the appropriate specialist the next day or immediately if the illness warrants.

What insurance do you accept?
Medicare and most plans. We are not providers for Blue Cross any longer, but will bill for you. We are not contracted with any HMO's.

Is x-ray available?
Yes. We have x-ray facilities on site with x-ray technicians on staff.

How are you different from the emergency room?
We see many of the same type of patients as seen in the emergency room. The sicker patient, those requiring hospitalization or intensive work-ups, chest pain, traffic accidents, major trauma and life threatening problems must be seen at the hospital emergency room. We often will see a patient here that should have gone to the ER. We transport these by paramedics to Saddleback Hospital ER, about 100 yards from our facility.

Do your doctors have regular patients?
Since we are a walk-in urgent care center, our emphasis is on the urgent care patient. Some patients use us as their primary care provider.

Do I need to make an appointment?
Although we do see walk-in patients, we make appointments for your convenience. To make an appointment please call us at (949) 206-4633,
